The Polisport Group, along with ABIMOTA and 32 other companies linked to the two-wheeled and soft mobility sector, is a founder of the association that aims to increase the competitiveness of companies, particularly in the areas of Innovation and Development (R&D).
The Polisport Group, is one of the engines of the consortium that created Bikinnov - Bike Value Inovation Center - Association, an organization that will support companies on the path to innovation and manage the new Technological Interface Center (CIT), dedicated to the two-wheel and soft mobility sector.
"It's a historic day, which will play a crucial role for the two-wheeler and soft mobility sector and for the Polisport Group." Said Pedro Araújo, who also added that "all companies in the sector work in the global market, an extremely competitive market in which all players cross paths and in which it is increasingly important for companies to be innovative and thus competitive."
The future Technological Interface Center (CIT) will be installed in Borralha, Águeda, and will provide the national two-wheeler and soft mobility sector with a worldwide reference center in terms of Research and Development (R&D).
"I'm convinced that in a short space of time it will allow not only the Polisport Group, but all companies, to develop increasingly innovative products. In this aspect we highlight the role of ABIMOTA that managed, in record time and with great dynamics, to create this Technological Interface Center and thus, today, the foundations for the future were created. We are taking steps towards a new dynamic; Portugal is a European leader in bicycle manufacturing and today we made the leap to the next level". Highlighted the CEO of Polisport Group.
The Portuguese industry of two-wheeled and soft mobility thus gains a new momentum, in order to strengthen creative capacity, grow in the value scale and gain competitiveness internationally.
