China Cycle 2011 Shows Greater International Focus

SHANGHAI, China - With the theme “Happy Ride, Happy Life”, the 21st. China International Bicycle & Motor Fair will open up at Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) on May 4-7, 2011.

As one of the most well-known cycle shows around the world, the whole scale this year will break its own record with 100,000 square meters or say 5,300 basic booth units equivalence. The visitors will find new products, new ideas and new trends of bicycles, electric bicycles and motorcycles on the show and various kinds of activities as well.

China Cycle 2011 is showing a more internationalized image to the world. The organizer, China Bicycle Association (CBA) and co-organizer, Shanghai Xiesheng Exhibition Co., Ltd. (SXEC) have taken an initiative to stride forward as follows:

1. Further extend Sino-foreign trade communications. “We have visited all famous cycle shows around the world and talk with their bicycle associations and organizers for practical co-operation and invited their CEOs to attend China Cycle 2011 as our distinguish guests;

2. “Provide the service of taking domestic exhibitors abroad together with inviting overseas exhibitors into China. In the year 2010, SXEC made an acquisition of Hi-Lighting International Exhibition (Beijing) Co., Ltd. which is specialized in taking Chinese companies to participate in overseas cycle trade shows. Now exhibitors can enjoy a one-stop service on participating trade shows home and abroad.

3. “Promote the Sino-foreign cultural exchange of cycling. New contacts have been gradually established between SXEC and the governments and NGOs from those countries with rich bicycle historical heritage and culture such as Demark, The Netherland and France.”

Over 1100 companies from 16 countries and regions including Italy, the Netherland, Switzerland, France, Germany, UK, USA, Japan, Korea, India, Spain, Portugal, Pakistan, Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan have confirmed their participation.
